Deck of Interest—Dreaming Way Lenormand

What’s new in Lenormand?

Kwon Shina has added a new dimension to the very popular Lenormand divination system. I loved her Dreaming Way Tarot deck (review available on TarotWise.com). She’s delivered once again with this quirky, lyrical interpretation of the 36 Lenormand cards, advancing their power as an oracle. The accompanying 96-page booklet adds insight for those who are still new to Lenormand interpretation. Seasoned intuitives will most likely just open the box and let these powerful new illustrations take them to new heights.

Rider sits backwards on what might very well be a carousel horse. Clouds emanate from a cup of coffee (I especially relate to that one). Sardine can as Coffin. Birds sporting a bird house as a hat. And are those bricks falling out of the window of the Tower, or is it a dissolving stairway?

US Games is well on the way to being the definitive authority on modern Lenormand. Dreaming Way Lenormand is yet another feather in their cap. SHOP FOR THE DECK

Book of Interest—Deviant Moon Tarot

Does the moon speak to you?

Never before has the tale of discovering tarot, from the sighting of a small box in a shopping mall to the creation of one of the most successful and inventive decks of all time, been recounted in such detail and with such animation. From the moment he talked his parents into buying him that first tarot deck, Valenza practiced recreating the cards. He arrived at adolescence with advanced drawing and interpretative skills. By the age of 18, he had created the first thirteen Deviant Moon tarot cards. Then, as he matured and his style began to morph and his interests changed, he put those first thirteen cards away and didn’t return to them until 2004. When he did reconnect to the deck, it began to come to life in an extraordinary way. Digitally merging the figures with his extensive photography collection, the current version of the Deviant Moon tarot was born.

Beautifully printed, this book is a visual feast as well as a stellar documentation of the creative process. After telling us his story, Valenza takes us on a personal tour through the deck. Each card is reproduced as a full page illustration. Valenza tells us how he interprets the card and gives us a peek at how the card came to life by sharing preliminary sketches and reference material with us. Tarot lovers, artists, or those who are curious about creative esoteric reality will find this a very special treasure indeed. SHOP FOR THE DECK

Deck of Interest—Angel Inspiration Deck

Feb 03 2016 Published by under Anna's Decks of Interest, US Games

U.S. Games Systems, Inc.

Which angel do you need today?

Kim Dreyer has digitally rendered 44 beautiful and emotive angels to create this inspirational deck. Winged guardians from other realms permeate many belief systems and Dreyer’s inclusive imagery reflects that multi-cultural foundation. She has even transformed several of the traditionally male angels into female form.

The 60-page companion book provides valuable insight into each card. It provides a keyword for the card, the name of the associated angel, an interpretation of the guidance which the card is suggesting, questions from the angels, and affirmations to repeat in response to those questions. There is a separate chart packaged with the deck that provides correspondences between angels and specific needs.

You can feel a lightness of energy as you hold the cards. Just viewing the ethereal images lifts the spirits. It’s a great deck, for comfort as well as guidance. SHOP FOR THE DECK

Deck of Interest—Pixie’s Astounding Lenormand

What do you see in these little cards?

Comprised of illustrations from the Rider-Waite tarot and “The Green Sheaf”, this 36-card petit Lenormand pays homage to Pamela Colman Smith. It is fundamentally a series of collages pieced together from Smith’s artwork. The pieces of the Rider-Waite cards add layers of meaning to the simple Lenormand images.

On the surface it’s a series of images which trigger intuitive information in the reader. For those who are familiar with Smith’s work, each card is a little mystery to be solved and built upon.

Fun, thought-provoking, and already a sensation on the web, this small deck in its metal container is a treat for beginners and seasoned diviners alike. SHOP FOR THE DECK

Deck of Interest—Inspirational Wisdom of Angels & Fairies

Dec 15 2015 Published by under Anna's Decks of Interest, US Games

U.S. Games Systems, Inc.

How magical is your life?

This fanciful parade of fairies, angels, dreams, doorways, magic bubbles, and moonlight is as powerful as it is endearing. The Wisteria Fairy smiles coyly from her branch, the Mushroom Fairy’s green-beaded hair flows behind her as she marches through a forest of mushrooms, and Pegasus blesses the rainbow in the Fairy of Fantasy’s creative world. This ethereal cast of characters sprinkles stars and uses blossoms as trumpets as the 44 cards in this beautiful deck seem to come alive in your hands.

Mastrangelo’s sophisticated layering of vibrant colors creates an energetic (sometimes nearly 3-D) effect. Munro’s 60-page companion book adds insight, as well as affirmations, prayers, and special exercises. The compilation of symbolism in each card makes this delightful deck perfect for daily meditation or one-card readings. SHOP FOR THE DECK
